What To Do If Someone Is Struggling

If you think someone may be struggling, your presence can make a difference:

  • Start the conversation
Ask simple, direct questions like “Are you okay?” or “Do you want to talk?”
  • Listen without judgment
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is just listen.
  • Encourage them to seek help
Suggest talking to a trusted person, counselor, or reaching out to one of the resources above.
  • Stay connected
Check in, follow up, and remind them they are not alone.
  • Take it seriously
If someone talks about wanting to harm themselves, don’t ignore it, help them connect to immediate support.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Just showing up matters more than you know., resources, and tools to better understand mental health and support yourself or others.

You Are Not Alone

Healing takes time, and no one should have to go through it alone.

Whether you are seeking support, remembering someone you love, or looking for ways to help others, we are here to stand with you.

Because even in the hardest moments, hope is legit.
